Our First Sasha Festivi-Tea!

There are no words to describe how much I appreciate everyone who helped
make SASHA’S FESTIVI-TEA a huge success.
I do believe that there are two words that can take you further in life than any
two words in the Webster dictionary: THANK YOU!

First of all I have to thank my brilliant co-author Preston Orr. He is the voice of all
of the animals on the cd! His French accent was point on! (You’ll just have to get
a copy of the book to experience Preston’s amazing gift!) The beautiful and
talented Leslie Roberts of Tyler shared her gift as the voice of Sasha, the Roe Deer
and Juliette the Jewel. THANK YOU to you both!
It was especially exciting to see the little girls so beautifully dressed and
mesmerized by every aspect of the event! As they entered the Parisian CAFÉ LA
BOIS their eyes were filled with awe and pleasure! The pictures just don’t do
justice? They attentively listened to every word of the narration of the book and
how elated they were to discover they were going home with their very own
copy. THANK YOU mothers and grandmothers for accompanying them to this
very special event!
THANK YOU to my dearest friends for taking on the role as table hostesses. You
all looked absolutely gorgeous and you fulfilled your roles with such grace and
dignity. I so love each one of you: Jan Fitch, Sandra Kelsey, Beverly Hall, Jennifer
Vietzek, Cortland Esters, Ana Shuster, Suzanne Castles, Sherri Parker, Stacey
Johnson, Sarah Siler, Kim Doerge, Amy Turlington and Brook Cartright.

They were captivated when Sasha (Kylie Langford) made her appearance and sang
the Sasha Theme Song—one would have thought they were an audience member
at a Broadway Musical. THANK YOU Kylie Langford!

Fashionista’s Beverly Hall and Amy Turlington were charming as the moderators
for SASHA’S FASHION SHOW, adding their own clever take on Sasha’s couture.
This duo has been my constant prayer warriors and most avid cheerleaders
throughout my adult life. Beverly Hall was there at the conception of Sasha
and has given me heartfelt advice and constructive criticism in so many areas of this project.
The gorgeous models were adorned in creations of Madame Sasha. Those in attendance oohed and aahed as the models OWNED the Catwalk. THANK YOU models: Ava Turlington, Camille Freeman, Jamie Scott, Kendall Collins, Toria Vietzke, Grace Rucker, Baylee Coleman, Jordis Stark, Victoria
Rodriquez, Morgan Bradley, Tessa Haynes, McKenna Appleton, Maggie Briscoe
Tristiya Rhodes and Mylie Hendricks. The girls had the time of their lives! I do
believe we have some runway models.


A huge THANK YOU to Suzanne Castles (I call her the TEEN WHISPERER)
What a gift to the youth of East Texas!
She can get teenagers to do anything, and they do it with a smile.
Please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed. I love you my friend.

A very special treat was having our illustrator, Taylor Skelton of Austin with us.
She shared with the audience how she was inspired to create each picture for the
book. I have so enjoyed working with this incredible artist THANK YOU!
Last but not least: Jennifer Vietzke of AFFORDABLE ELEGANCE. I can’t begin to
express my gratitude to her for sharing my vision of realizing my dream of
bringing Sasha to life at TEA PARTIES! She transformed the dining hall of FBC into
the most elegant setting for SASHA’S FASHION FESTIVI-TEA. She spent weeks
exploring every possible idea to make the Tea Party like none other. She worked
diligently with our phenomenal caterer, Betsy Brooks, to ensure that the menu
was perfect for our High Tea. Guests commented that they actually felt like they
were in PARIS! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I can always count on my multi-talented red-headed friend, Stacey Johnson. She’s my most favorite singer to accompany. Her gifts are way too many to try to mention here. We sang in a group many years ago called THE GLORYLAND VOCAL BAND. I must do a little bragging: the group was …….. well, just phenomenal. I loved playing for them. Stacey summed up the mission of the SASHA FASHION FESTIVI-TEA parties: to promote healthy self-esteem, being all that you can be and fulfilling your God-given dream. She lead us in an annointed prayer before we dismissed to be DREAM MAKERS!
THANK YOU Bro. David Higgs (pastor) and Bro. Paul Raack (Children’s minister) of
FBC, Henderson for supporting this event. THANK YOU Karen Reynolds (FBC
superwoman secretary) for assisting with all of the many details involved with an
undertaking this monumental!
My mission with the book SASHA GOES TO PARIS is to help our children realize
their God-given potential, to never give up on their dreams and to be all that they
can be!
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20.

Sasha Song 'Aria' was created and composed by Sandy Siler and Jon Starling.
Thank you for hosting a memorable event. It is hard to find events which are geared toward children and adults that is wholesome and fun. I hope Sandra keeps doing these events, even if it’s only twice a year.
BRAVO Sandy Siler, Preston Orr, Jon Starling and Taylor Skelton. The Lords hand is visible in every word, picture, and in every verse of Sasha. May HIS favor shine upon you and those that read this sweet inspiring book.
What an extravaganza! An amazing day that created so many wonderful memories for those girls! SASHA is a HIT! Congratulations to all involved in their diligence and perseverance making Sandra Siler’s a vision reality. Well done!
